Torino is one of the major cities in Italy, located in the North-West, well known for its innovation soul, well represented today by Torino City Lab and CTE NEXT – the House of Emerging Technologies, born to allow testing and scaling of innovative urban solutions of public interest in any domain of the Smart city, with a strong focus on social and environmental sustainability, including food and nature based solutions.

Laura Ribotta

Laura Ribotta

Laura is an Environmental engineer and PhD in geo-environmental engineering for hydrocarbon transport in soil. She has been a public servant at Turin Municipality since 2005. She worked for the Environmental Division on environmental impact assessment, soil remediation, Integrated Environmental Authorisation. Now she is in charge of smart-city projects in the field of environmental adaptation, mitigation strategies, Nature Based Solutions, and circular economy.

Davide Miceli

Davide Miceli

Davide is a Political scientist, graduated in 2015 in Cooperation, development and innovation in the global economy. He has been working for the City of Turin since 2021, employed in the Smart City and Innovation Unit, on the financial reporting and management of European projects in the field of technological and environmental innovation.

Antonio Vita

Antonio Vita

Antonio graduated in 2018 in Economy of the Environment, Culture and Territory. In 2019 did an internship on ISO 20121 (sustainable events standard) at the City of Turin, collaborating also with Threes Prod. Agency and Fondazione per la Cultura Torino for a sustainable management of cultural events. He has been a member team in the Communication and Engagement group of UniToGO, the sustainability network of the University of Turin.

Giuseppe Cambareri

Giuseppe Cambareri

Giuseppe graduated in 2008 in Natural Sciences – science and technology for the environment and nature. He has been working for the City of Turin since 2022, employed in the Waste Management Unit on projects for the city’s waste collection, innovations on waste collection and the related supply chain.
