The Data Competence Center Cities and Regions (DKSR) supports cities and regions in their sustainable smart development: We help municipalities to meet their challenges with digital solutions. With our open source data platform, data-based solutions are easily deployed across cities and regions. With our consulting, we deliver the expertise for the use of urban data. By sharing solutions in the Urban Data Community and on the web portal DKSR.square, we create inter-municipal synergy effects.
David Hick
David, Consultant Urban Data Strategies & Smart Cities, is an expert for data driven citizen-centric urban planning with deep experience in development of use cases with urban technologies and data. Drawing on his background in knowledge architecture, he develops concepts for Urban Data Platforms and organizes co-creation workshops with stakeholders.
Verena Mutz
Verena, Consultant Urban Development, is an expert for urban development processes and for community management. As a project and community manager she supports cities in identifying needs and reaching their strategic smart city goals, but also facilitates intercommunal exchange and synergies.
Manas Pradhan
Manas, Lead Architect, has over 12 years of experience in developing and building IoT and real-time urban data platforms and technology architectures. As an expert for the standardization of platforms and data he has led multiple research projects concerned with the standardization of smart city components.
Vijay Kumar
Vijay, Backend Developer, is a certified expert for a wide range of software components necessary for the development of urban data platforms. He has been responsible for the development of responsive frameworks to visualize real-time data in GIS environments as well as the development and implementation of connectors for urban data platforms.
Anne-Marie Pellegrin
Anne-Marie, Communication Manager, is responsible for strategic communication and media relations at DKSR. As an expert for (digital) communication and events manager she facilitates connection and exchange between a wide range of stakeholders within the field of Smart Cities & Regions.
