Grenoble Alpes-Metropoles
Grenoble-Alpes Métropole (GAM) is an inter-municipal authority gathering 49 municipalities and 450.000 inhab. at the centre of a metropolitan area of 700.000 inhab.
With the status of “Metropole” established by a 2015 national law, GAM is in charge of the main local policies: economic development, mobility, energy transition and urban planning among others. GAM is in charge of the main urban development projects with the CLIMABOROUGH pilot GrandAlpe, an ambitious urban transformation process.

Olivier Antelme
Olivier serves as the Director of the urban project GrandAlpe. In this capacity, he is responsible for supervising the operations of the project, designed to serve as a showcase for ecological transition, utilizing all available assets to create a fossil fuel-free city.
Olivier’s primary goal is to foster temporary activities and projects in collaboration with various resources and stakeholders, including companies, social and solidarity economy (SSE) actors, artists, and citizens. These initiatives aim to provide a preview of the territory’s transformation.
Bastien Dalmasso
Specializing in citizen participation processes and initiatives, Bastien earned his degree from Sciences Po Grenoble and holds a Master’s in Legal and Financial Engineering with a concentration in Local Government Management.
Since 2015, Bastien has served in a key role within the Citizen Participation division of the Metropolitan Strategy and Public Innovation Mission of the Grenoble Metropolis. He conceptualizes, coordinates, and, as needed, facilitates consultation processes for residents and stakeholders in the region. This includes projects related to development and the creation of planning documents (PLUI – PLH – PDU, etc.).
Guillaume Tournaire
Graduated in Geography, Guillaume is in charge of European affairs at Grenoble-Alpes Métropole since 2011. Beforehand, he worked for 10 years on urban cohesion policies by developing projects on social, urban or economic domains in deprived areas. He has developed and implemented diverse projects on INTERREG (Alpine Space, URBACT) or Horizon 2020 and he is participating in different networks like Eurocities or Net-zero-cities.
Mariam Gallée
Mariam serves as the Project Manager for Climaborough. Before joining Grenoble Alpes Metropole, she held diverse project management positions in developing countries. She conducted Cost-Benefit Analyses (CBA) for the United Nations in Nepal and assisted a microfinance institute in expanding its operations in rural Ghana. Most recently, she has been involved in overseeing renovation and auto consumption projects at Lancey Energy Storage, a startup specializing in the field of energy transition.
